People hate the word sacrifice. It leaves a bad taste in their mouth. However, in order for people to pay off debt, they do need to make some sacrifices. Nevertheless, we'll say "choices."

If I had to pick one word to describe the true secret behind what I believe is successful personal financing, I would pick "Sacrifice" above all others. Even if it is not necessary, one much be ready and willing to make sacrifices.
